Stay safe
Due to scammers and fraudsters who unfortunately operate in the property sector and on websites, we advise you all to stay safe and remain vigilant at all times. If you come across anything suspicious on our platform, please report it to us. Be aware of adverts that seem to be too good to be true, or users asking for personal information from you, that you are uncomfortable in sharing. We advise you all, to take someone with you when you are showing or visiting a property. Do not transfer or pay monies to another party until you are ready to complete a transaction, preferably in person and have verified they are who they claim they are. If you can, try to avoid registration fees or at least negotiate the amount, and do not pay until you are at the property you are viewing ideally. Try to avoid evening appointments and always speak to the other party, ideally with a video call, prior to any appointment and ask as many questions as possible. If you are looking to join other sharers or interested in joining other investors, we advised you to do your due diligence. Have meetings initially to establish the person is who they say they are, are reputable and have the funds for any joint venture.
